LOLITA.

The group was formed in Moscow in 1987 in a following line-up:
Alexej "Pljuha" Pljusnin - voice, guitar,
Alexej "Lisij" Popov - guitar,
Alexej "Pushj" Potapov - bass,
Konstantin "Zhaba" Guryanov - drums, keyboard.

Despite of fissile concert activity at the end of 80 years LOLITA so never also has not achieved broad social recognition, remaining collective liked by the friends and the colleagues - by the musicians.

Being music fans, the musicians of LOLITA executed things of rather broad style range, from Paul Anka and Rolling Stones up to Lou Reed's Velvet Underground and Iggy Pop's Stooges, from popular 60-s hitS up to half-an-hour psychodelic compositions with usage of oriental instruments and free-jazz improvisings.

The group differed infrequent anti-professionalism and freaking, alternating infrequent successful protrusions by series of falls, as it happened, for example, on a legendary concert SONIC YOUTH, where ЛОЛИТА warmed up the Americans. After a fancy fall Art TRoitskij has started by the demo-cassette of LOLITA in a wall and has said, that he more never wants to hear this title.

Nevertheless, alone official release of LOLITA - joint with Nik Rock'n'Roll the album " The Moscow Vacation " has got in the book best rock albums of Russian fate. Composed and recorded for some hours at studio the BEGEMOT Records this album is one of the most free and fresh project of the 80-s.

After a record of this album the legendary concert in MEI has followed where LOLITA has acted together with a Grazhdanskaja OBORONA, JANKA and Nik Rock'n'Roll. It, undoubtedly, was the creative spike of collective.
In total group has recorded six albums, and, after the leader of group Alexej Pljusnin has leaved from capital to his home city ST.Petersburg, exists only incidentally.

It's no doubt that LOLITA is one of few non-compromising groups of 80-s achieved relative notoriety and certain 'cult' popularity, that allows to hope that the non-realized records of collective sometime will be issued.
